N-Compass are currently project managers for two projects at the Auckland Zoo, one being the redevelopment of the Pridelands Escarpment Area and the other being an extension of the Australian Walkabout which sits along the Old Mills Road boundary.
The Pridelands Redevelopment involves the area between the lion viewing hut and the giraffe feeding platform area. The redevelopment will include a walk-through aviary for the Zoo's large lovebird colony and a meerkat exhibit.
The quality standards for this project were established very early in the process by N-Compass in conjunction with the client from Auckland Zoo.
During the design and construction process a focus on quality was maintained. It was particularly important to deliver an end result that met the expectations of the client particularly in relation to animal welfare and visitor experience.
