N-Compass was engaged by the Ministry of Education to provide comprehensive project management services at Otahuhu College. The scope of this project included a new three storey, 10 classroom science block, replacement of existing pool changing rooms and internal modifications to three existing school buildings.
The project was successfully completed between December 2014-December 2015 under three separable portions. All three separable portions were completed on programme and the new science block was handed over to the school prior to the 2015 school Christmas holiday period to allow occupation in time for term 1 2016.
The project required frequent liaison with key school staff members due to works often taking place within existing buildings during term time. This stakeholder management process was successful throughout the entire 12 month project.
The project was delivered successfully under the original project budget of approximately $6.4M.
